Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked is just around the corner, and fans are eagerly awaiting the company’s announcement of its new foldable phones at the Seoul Unpacked event next month. Ahead of the official debut, the rumors suggest that the event will take place on July 26. In addition, the breaking information from MySmartPrice reveals the first official render of the two foldable phones: the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Galaxy Z Flip 5 first official render leaked
The official render of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 showcases significant upgrades in its foldable lineup. According to the MySmartPrice report, the upcoming Galaxy Z Fllip 5 foldable phone now features a much larger cover display on the outside, which covers almost half of the rear panel when unfolded.
The image reveals that the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s outer display is bigger than ever before. Previous Z Flip models from Samsung were equipped with a 1.9-inch display, but the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 will boast a significantly larger 3.4-inch cover screen. This places it ahead of the OPPO Find N2 Flip, which has a 3.26-inch screen.

Unlike the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, the cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 doesn’t incorporate cutouts for the rear camera setup and the LED flash. Instead, Samsung has opted for a different approach by slightly arching the display, creating room for a dual-camera setup. This adjustment in design layout was necessitated by the increased size of the display.
