WhatsApp Avatar Edition
The feature allows you to create a 3D avatar of yourself with the help of the avatar edition in the app. While using the same as your profile picture as well. Whereas, after successful customization of your avatar, WhatsApp also creates a new sticker pack which is based on the avatar that you share in chats.
WhatsApp beta program
Additionally, the avatar integration is presently available for less number of users on the latest WhatsApp beta for Android. And thus, if you’re part of the WhatsApp beta program. Then you can update to the latest release available on the PlayStore to try it out. Also, if the feature is live for you then you will able to see a new Avatar option in the device settings. So in order to customise your avatar, select it and once you’re done, the sticker pack would appear by default in the sticker selection menu.
Also, if you are not able to find the Avatar option in the app settings, instead of installing the latest update. Then you’ll have to wait for a while for a wider rollout. WhatsApp does not make any official announcement for the feature so far. Therefore, it might take a few days or more for the feature to show up on your device. Whereas, users not on the beta channel will need to wait a little longer to try it out.
