What’s new in Galaxy Watch 4 series Sixth One UI 4.5 Beta update

Recently, Samsung opened the gates for the One UI Watch 4.5 Beta Program to its interested Galaxy Watch 4 series users. By that time, the company has rolled out its few beta updates. And that simply indicates that the South Korean giant is about to bring a stable update of it. Notably, this is the sixth One UI Watch 4.5 beta update to the smartwatches.

Sixth One UI Watch 4.5 beta update fixes a lot of bugs

The Sixth update Watch 4.5 beta brings a lot of features and going to fix multiple bugs on both Bluetooth and LTE versions of the watches. Out of various, it fixes the bug due to which entered text disappeared while using automatic text suggestion. Again, it also fixed the reset issue problem, that appeared during exercise in Watch Only mode. Apart from this, with the new update, the Galaxy Watch 4 series automatically shut off the battery saver mode. When the battery gets charged to 15% or higher.

Moving ahead, the LTE version of the Galaxy Watch 4 was not able to receive disaster-related messages over 255 bytes, and that’s also fixed by a new beta update. On the other hand, the smartwatch could not able to call 911 in the case when a T-Mobile user was roaming on an AT&T network in the US. And Samsung also put a focus on this time and updated the Flashlight app on the device.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic users globally probably soon get the stable One UI Watch 4.5 update, based on Wear OS 3.5. To be noted, this is the same software that comes in the highlight as it debuts with the Galaxy Watch 5 and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro respectively.

Reportedly, the Sixth One UI Watch 4.5 beta update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic comes with the firmware version that ends with ZHV2.

LTE: Bugs that have been fixed

  • Improved the issue that disaster messages over 255 bytes cannot be received.
  • Fixed reset issue when entering Watch-only mode during exercise.
  • Fixed failure issue when TMO user sends E911 call while roaming to ATT network.
  • Update Flashlight App.
