The much-awaited Samsung Galaxy S23 is predicted to go official with the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23 Pro in Q1 2023. And as of now, so many rumours have revealed the information on the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s chipset, battery, and rear camera setup. Also, there is a huge discussion on its 200-megapixel flagship camera, which is the first one in the category.
Again, S23 Ultra is been predicted to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Also, it is expected to have the same battery which is presently available on Galaxy S22 Ultra. Out of various leakers and tipsters, Pricebaba through our trusted tipster Paras Guglani (aka Passionate Geekz) has learned more details about this upcoming smartphone. While the firmware data of the flagship S23 Ultra has surfaced online. And as revealed by the screenshot below, the firmware code has disclosed its name, codename as well as its model numbers.
The firmware codename of Galaxy S23 has been revealed as “DM3”, whereas its model number is SM-S918. As depicted by the attached screenshot above, model numbers such as SM-S918BDS, SM-S918U, SM-S918U1, and SM-S918W are all associated with the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra rumoured specifications
The rumoured specifications of the Galaxy S23 reveal that it is packed with a Quad HD+ AMOLED display with LTPO technology. And, hence it will support a 1Hz-120 Hz refresh rate. Also, it is expected that it going to have autofocus -enabled 40-megapixel front-facing camera.

Talking about the rear camera setup of the phone then it will going to have an OIS-enabled 200-megapixel Samsung HP2 main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x zoom and OIS support, and a 10-megapixel periscope zoom camera with 10x optical zoom.
As per some reports, it is claimed that there will be no Exynos variant of the S23. It means, that all of the markets will receive the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 edition of the device. Coming to the battery then it will be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, which may support 45W fast charging. It is also speculated to support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
Last but not the least, the S23 Ultra will be expected to be preloaded with Android 12 OS and One UI 5.0. Apart from this, it will feature an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner.
