Samsung Electronics and Korea University officially signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement for the third year of the ‘Eco-friendly Energy Research Center’ at the Korea University Creative Hall in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.

This agreement was witnessed by Wi Hoon, vice president of Samsung Electronics DA division, and Professor Ho-Seong Lee of Korea University, head of the research center.
Samsung Electronics established an eco-friendly energy research center with Korea University at the end of 2021 and has been conducting joint research by discovering high-efficiency energy technologies and new materials and related tasks.
“Samsung Electronics and Korea University have continued to collaborate on research on core technologies for next-generation home appliances, such as energy-efficient technologies and renewable materials, since 2021,” said Vice President Wi Hoon, head of the advanced development team at Samsung Electronics’ DA Division. “We are discovering innovative technologies that can be applied to a variety of home appliances.” “We will continue to work hard to do this,” he said.
