According to the latest information, the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), has officially released a press note and claimed a critical warning that is directed at Android users, including those using Google Pixel, Samsung, and OnePlus devices.

- CERT-In confirmed that the alert is primarily directed at users using Android OS versions 11, 12, 12L, and 13.
- The main reason for this issue is the presence of various vulnerabilities that could potentially allow cybercriminals to access sensitive data.
- The government agency has also stressed how important it is for users to update their Android operating systems, as older OS versions are easier for hackers to take advantage of through these vulnerabilities.
Meanwhile, the other causes will be Framework, System, Google Play system updates, UNISOC components, MediaTek components, Arm components, Qualcomm components and closed-source components.
