Samsung has recently launched the latest foldable smartphones in the world, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5. These new foldable devices are launched with some improvements over the previous generation models. The all-new foldable does not differ almost at all from the previous models but, yes the devices will get camera optimization over the last generation.
Recently, Samsung’s official camera community moderator has shared some future news regarding the Camera and the Gallery, already implemented on the latest foldable and arriving on other devices.
More Camera and Gallery features coming to older Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Z models
Samsung is all set to release a bunch of new innovations in the pipeline for photography for its smartphones. The first feature is already available for the foldable smartphones just presented by Samsung and the Galaxy S23 lineup. This is related to the quality of the digital zoom in the photo mode, improvements due to multi-frame composition and Super Resolution processes.
The second feature is related to the document scanning mode, the possibility of improving the definition of the text is added, as well as the possibility of removing external elements from the scan. This new feature should be available for Galaxy S23 smartphones with the One UI 6 update.

The latest features will remain exclusive to Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 and will soon also arrive on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Fold 3 and Fold 2.
