Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 40mm and 44mm: FCC Certification, Specifications

Samsung is gearing up to reveal the new Galaxy Watch 6 series smartwatches in the coming months. The South Korean tech giant is looking to unveil the Watch 6 and Samsung Watch 6 Classic.

The upcoming smartwatches are expected to be unveiled alongside Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in July/August. The Galaxy Watch 6 models are now spotted on Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification database.

According to the certification listing, the 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 model has the model number SM-R930. The Watch 6 44mm model number is SM-R940. For your information, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is expected to launch with Bluetooth, WiFI 802.11 b/g/n/a, NFC, and GNSS.

The wireless charger of the upcoming Watch 6 has the model number ER-OR900. Apart from this, the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic is said to arrive with rotating bezels, similar to Watch 4 Classic. The upcoming Watch 6 Classic to sport a 1.47-inch display with a 470 × 470 pixel resolution.

Additionally, the report says it will gonna have a bigger display than the Watch 5 Pro, which features a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Watch 6 Classic might feature a 1.47-inch display with a higher resolution of 470 x 470 pixels. The device is also tipped to pack a bigger battery than the outgoing model.
