Samsung is now adding one more Galaxy A Series device to a May 2023 security patch update list. In the beginning of May week, several devices like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22, Galaxy A33, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Z Flip 3, and the Galaxy A10e have received the update, and now the Galaxy A52 is getting in Argentina.
The release notes for the May 1, 2023 Android security bulletin includes fixes for 72 security flaws that affect a wide array of devices. According to the security bulletin, the security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets related to the FactoryTest function, ActivityManagerService, kernel pointers exposure in the log file, Theme Manager and more.

The Galaxy A52 May 2023 security update bumps the firmware version up to A525MUBS5DWE1. The May update has been released for the Galaxy A52 5G as well. You can download the latest update by tapping on Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
