Samsung Galaxy S22 series device users have recently reported that Samsung Keyboard uses extraordinary power after the One UI 5.1 installation. The Galaxy S21 smartphone users also reported the battery drain issue. After that Samsung knows this issue and officially agreed that the Samsung keyboard app included in the latest version (One UI 5 .1) has increased battery usage.

We have confirmed that the Samsung keyboard app included in the latest version One UI 5.1 has increased battery usage. Due to some additional qualifying process (related to stickers and emojis). To fix this, a new version of the Samsung Keyboard app update was released in March 2023.
Therefore, please update the Samsung Keyboard app to the latest version 5 .6.10.31 on your device via Galaxy Store.
Steps to update Samsung Keyboard
1 ) Galaxy Store > Menu > Updates > Samsung Keyboard > Tap the Update button.
2) Samsung Keyboard > Settings > About Samsung Keyboard > Tap Update button.
