Samsung at the February 2023 Unpacked event introduced the latest flagship device Galaxy S23 series. Now according to the latest information from the DSCC Research Institute, the production is expected to be 35 percent higher than the S22 series.
As per the chart below, the monthly production rate is higher than the previous one through June 2023. It compares the 2021-2022 S22 series with the 2022-2023 S23 series.
As far as the S22 series is concerned, due to some supply chain issues, the number of initial shipments is small, so in terms of the cycle, the output of the S23 series in January 2023 is 113% higher than that of the S22 series in January 2022.
Production of the S23 series for the first seven months (through June) is expected to be 35% higher than that of the S22 series.
When comparing the situation of the S23 series and the S22 series until June, the report shows that the number of each model has changed as follows.
- S23: Increased by 34%
- S23+: Increased by 31%
- S23 Ultra: 36% increase
