Update 1 – January 06, 2023:
The Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S21, Galaxy A10, Galaxy A73, and Galaxy Z Flip have already joined the January 2023 security update race. Now, the update is rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
As per the changelog, the latest January 2023 security update software update for the Galaxy S22 series has been released to the carrier-unlocked units in the US and it is rolling out with the build number S90xU1UES2BVL4.
Currently, the update for the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra units can be found on AT&T, Comcast, Cricket, US Cellular, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile’s networks.
Download the latest update by tapping on the Settings » Software Update and tapping Download and install. Meanwhile, Samsung is gearing up for the Galaxy S23 Series launch which is now a month far. During the Unpacked 2023 event, the South Korean tech giant will launch Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones with upgraded hardware capabilities.
