The South Korean tech giant has officially released a press statement confirming that the company will surely improve the shooting capabilities of the flagship smartphones which will be a part of the Galaxy S24 lineup camera in 2024. The major changes will be available in the video department.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra launch is also around the corner and the Galaxy S23 lineup is also said to get a better night photography experience. Ahead of the official debut, Samsung says with the help of the new “Nano-photonics Color Routing” process, it can create a new series of high-performance smartphone camera sensors that can not only improve video recording quality but also reduce power consumption and processing requirements.
In the latest announcement, a sensor built with the new process will get three key performance improvements for video capture:
- The first major change we will see in the low-light performance and it also reduced visual noise
- The second change will increase dynamic range, or the ability to simultaneously capture dark shadows and bright highlights
- The third major change will be available in depth-sensing, it will allow the Galaxy S24 camera to create pleasing out-of-focus backgrounds while keeping the subject in focus, similar to the iPhone’s “movie mode.”
The above changes will surely take Samsung’s Galaxy S23/24 series to the next level. Through the above three key performance improvements, Samsung device’s video quality will provide improved results. In addition, with the help of advanced software techniques such as multi-frame capture and AI-based processing, it brings users an excellent video shooting experience.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 lineup in the first week of February 2023. The company will launch Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event.
