Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones were the first to grab the One UI 5 beta update in three countries a few days ago. Now, according to the latest information, Samsung is already testing Android 13 (One UI 5) for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, Galaxy A53, and Galaxy A52s smartphone users.
Android 13 development Galaxy S21, S20, A53, and A52s started
Samsung is one of the finest tech giants in the software update segment. Samsung Unpacked Event is on August 10 eve and the next powerful foldable phones are ready to land on the market. Unfortunately, Samsung may debut these foldable – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 with One UI 4.1.1 as per the leak we have already found.
In terms of the One UI 5 update, Samsung is working on its development faster than ever. The next Android OS seems to be available for eligible devices very soon. Apart from the Galaxy S22 series, there are several other A and S series phones that will be a part of this major upgrade.
As reported by the GalaxyClub, the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy S20 series One UI 5 (Android 13) testing is at peak level. In addition, the new One UI upgrade is also being worked on for the Galaxy A53, and for the Galaxy A52s.
Major upgrade for Galaxy A53: One UI 5 (Android 13)
For the Samsung Galaxy A53 users, it’s quite surprising to grab this major Android 13 update since its release. On the list, the other Galaxy S and A series phones – Galaxy S21 and A52s will start grabbing a second major upgrade later this year.
Note: This will be the third and last Android upgrade for the Galaxy S20 series.
What about One UI 5 in Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE?
Currently, the premium segment devices are getting their first hand to experience all new features of One UI 5. Meanwhile, the source and we don’t have any information regarding the Galaxy S21 FE and the Galaxy S20 FE One UI 5 process.
If we check the Samsung update policy, the Galaxy S21 FE will get four Android upgrades (one is already distributed), and the other will come in the coming years.
Apart from the above devices, the rest need to wait for a bit, the Android 13 One UI 5 update may arrive weeks and months that follow – at the end of 2022, or perhaps only at the beginning of 2023.
