According to the report from the most Korean trusted source, theelec, Samsung Electronics decided a shipment target for the next-generation foldable phone, which is set to be released next year, the big agenda of this news is that the company is planning to ship less phones as per the previous models (Z Fold and Flip 4).
Samsung Electronics recently set a target shipment of 10 million units for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 to be released in the second half of next year.
The target shipments for each model are 2 million units for the Z Fold 5 and 8 million units for the Z Flip 5. However, it is known that the specific development verification and mass production timing of the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are still being coordinated.
The devices are said to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (code name SM8550) for both Z Fold 5 and Z Flip, but once again we are not sure about SoC information yet, hope we will hear something new after the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 launch.
