Recently, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4 passed through the FCC certification, and now adding one more device the Galaxy Z Flip 4 also cleared the same.
As per the data listing, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has model numbers SM-F721U and SM-F721U1 approved by the FCC and it indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 carrier and unlocked variants are made for the United States.
Regarding the processor information, the upcoming flip phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ chipset. However, we dint claimed any proof yet.
These two upcoming foldable phone are successors of the previous phone Galaxy Z Flip 3. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 should bring some hardware improvements and could become Korea’s first eSIM phone, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Samsung Galaxy Flip 4 and Fold 4 foldable phones are expected to be launched on August 10.
The smartphone with model number Galaxy Z Flip 4 (SM-F721U) has appeared in Geekbench’s database, revealing the phone’s processor, RAM, CPU benchmark scores, and software version. The phone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor (still codenamed Taro, similar to Snapdragon 8 Gen 1) with higher clock speeds: 3.19GHz for Cortex-X2 CPU core, 2.75GHz for C0rtex-A710 CPU cores, and 1.8GHz for Cortex-A510 CPU cores.
