Back in May this year, the South Korean tech giant Samsung released the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A42 5G owner in the US. Now, after two months the company has now released the July 2022 security update for the Galaxy A42 5G users with firmware version A426U1UES4BVF1.
Samsung’s July 2022 bulletin fixes 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities which mainly include CVEs and SVEs. According to the information, the phone sports a 6.6 inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and 20:9 aspect ratio.
Samsung Galaxy A42 supports 5g and is powered by the 1.7GHz octa-core processor that features 2 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 6 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. As per the storage, the company has given 4GB of RAM + 128GB internal storage, 6GB of RAM + 128GB internal storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. You can choose any variant as per your requirement.
If you want to look at the phone according to the better battery life, then Samsung has provided a 5000mAh battery in Samsung Galaxy A42 that supports proprietary fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A42 comes with a quad-rear camera setup consisting of 48 MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, an 8 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 5 MP camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 5 MP camera with f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, the phone sports a 20 MP camera with f/2.2 aperture. Samsung Galaxy A42 5g will have different connectivity options such as 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.00, GPS, and USB Type-C.
