According to the information, Samsung is bringing the new features to your Chromebook and it is expected to be released in the coming days. To recall, Google has started kicking off the chromeOS 101 updates (yes, not Chrome OS and not ChromeOS) to compatible Chromebooks with new features.
chromeOS 101 Features:
- chromeOS 101 update brings a dark boot screen.
- It brings a left-aligned app launcher that makes the UI easier to use and more sophisticated to look at.
- If you don’t see the new app launcher design even after updating your Chromebook to chromeOS 101, you can manually enable the feature via the chrome flag called chrome:flags#productivity-launcher.
- chromeOS 101 brings network-based recovery. You can install a fresh version of chromeOS directly from the internet.
- Google also seems to be rolling out new features to the Phone Hub section of Chromebooks.
For your information, it is only for those who are trying out the Android 13 Beta 2 update on their phones.
At the Google I/O 2022 event, Google showcased several upcoming features for chromeOS devices.
