Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone has recently received the stable One UI 5 Android 13 update. Now, in the Netherlands, the Galaxy A53 is getting the November security patch alongside the new Maintenance Mode.
As per the changelog, the latest software update is rolling out with the firmware version A536BXXU4BVKB and the update size is 440MB.
The Maintenance mode feature was missed in the stable One UI 5 but now you can finally able to use this feature with all new November 2022 patch update.
The new update is immediately available on the unbranded Galaxy A53 in the Netherlands and Belgium. Anyone who bought a branded device from Vodafone or T-Mobile may have to be a little more patient.
Once Maintenance Mode is switched on, the person who was entrusted with the device won’t be able to retrieve user-installed apps either. Data or accounts generated when using Maintenance Mode are automatically deleted as soon as the owner exits Maintenance Mode. They will be able to download apps on Galaxy Store, but those will be automatically deleted along with any data or accounts created as soon as the owner exits Maintenance Mode.
In order to install the latest update, you can also check availability manually via Settings -> Software update -> Download and install.
