According to the latest data from CINNO Research, the sales of folding screen mobile phones in the Chinese market in the third quarter of 2022 reached 723,000 units, a substantial increase of 114% year-on-year.

The report shows that the Chinese tech giant, Huawei ranked 1st in the third quarter of 2022 with 95% year-on-year increase in foldable phones and it still ranks No. 1 in the domestic folding machine market sales.
Huawei’s P50 Pocket was the main reason to achieve the sale target as it folds vertically and has won the single-season sales champion of domestic foldable mobile phones for three consecutive quarters from Q1 to Q3 this year.
In the second position, the South Korean tech giant, Samsung foldable phone sales increased by 20% year-on-year, ranking second in domestic sales. Recently, Samsung launched the fourth generation devices – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4.
