The South Korean tech giant has officially introduced the Viewfinity S9 (S90PC) in Korea. It is a high-resolution monitor specifically designed for graphic designers who require accurate color work. As per the specifications, it comes with a 27-inch (68.4 cm) monitor that delivers an impressive 5K ultra-high resolution of 5,120 x 2,880 pixels and a remarkable pixel density of 218 PPI (Pixels per Inch).
It has a maximum brightness of 600 nits, the Viewfinity S9 excels in accurately reproducing colors, covering up to 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. The monitor incorporates a Smart Calibration feature, enabling users to fine-tune color and brightness using the SmartThings app on their smartphone.
The Viewfinity S9 utilizes a matte display, reducing light reflection and enhancing the overall viewing experience. It has obtained ‘Glare Free’ verification, further elevating the visual quality.
Regarding connectivity, the Viewfinity S9 supports Thunderbolt 4 and Mini DisplayPort, facilitating up to 90W charging and a blazing transmission speed of up to 40Gbps. This compatibility ensures an optimized environment for designers utilizing either Mac or Windows operating systems.
The Viewfinity S9 includes a slim-fit camera with 4K resolution and incorporates an Intelligent Eye Care function, safeguarding users’ eyes from fatigue during extended work sessions. Additionally, the monitor offers the Samsung Smart TV App and Gaming Hub, expanding the viewing options, albeit potentially reducing eye rest.

Samsung Viewfinity S9 5K is priced at 1.7 million won ($1,300), the Viewfinity S9 will be exclusively available for purchase on Samsung.com. It will be available on July 3rd, 2023.
