Samsung launches Digital Key feature on Samsung Wallet in Australia

Samsung Electronics Australia has recently revealed the Digital Key feature on Samsung Wallet in Australia. It’s a feature that transforms Galaxy smartphones into hands-free smart keys for their respective car owners.

The Digital Key feature is developed to act like a physical correspondent peer. While it is first introduced for harmonious BMW vehicles. It will enable users residing in Australia to operate their cars including lock and unlock doors, and start their engines. The Digital Key is also sharable with multiple drivers through smartphones. This is powered by NFC and Ultra Wide Band capabilities.

Users can utilize the feature through their smartphones. While placing the smartphone on the compatible vehicle’s wireless charging pad in order to start their car’s engine. Digital Key needs to be recognized and authenticated. This can be executed on the newest Android 13 OS or higher version with a correspondent Galaxy device.
