WhatsApp enhanced support for message drafts available to some users

It just happen yesterday when WhatsApp officially released a “edit your WhatsApp chats” option within 15 minutes of sending it. Soon after this, on the Wabetainfo official post WhatsApp beta for Windows introduces enhanced support for message drafts…..!! Bringing the version up to 2.2319.4.0, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for the Windows native app through the official beta channel on the Microsoft Store.

What’s new in this enhanced support for message drafts?

Since the enhanced support for message drafts is available for some beta testers that install the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2319.4.0 update is available to the Microsoft Store. This feature is available for a long time for the native WhatsApp app for Windows. Some users may experiment with improved support for message drafts.

Well with the latest update of the app, the improvements available in the draft indicator will allow users to notice this detail. However, users often forget that they started composing a message within a conversation. Because the app does not indicate the presence of a message in the chat bar.

Now, the labeling system provides important information, allowing users to easily identify chats where messages haven’t been sent yet. As chats that contain a draft message will be marked with a green label called “draft”. The introduction of the “Draft” label and the strategic placement of drafts at the top of the chat list provides users with a good solution. Which makes it easier for people to notice, resume, and send their unfinished messages.

Additionally, draft messages have been implemented to prioritize conversations by moving them to the top of the chat list. This new placement ensures that users won’t overlook these drafts and helps draw attention to their presence. With this update, WhatsApp wants to address a common issue where users would forget about partially composed messages within conversations.
