Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 2x portrait firmware testing spotted [WE9]

Samsung has recently rolled out Video Call Streaming feature for the Galaxy S23 series and it was rolled out initially in China. With this update, users of the latest Galaxy S23 series lineup can easily transfer native video calls to a Galaxy Tab.

The trio has recently received several impressive features updates and now according to the information, Samsung is still working on the device to improve the entire experience. As per the Twitter tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will soon have a 2x portrait mode feature, allowing users to snap zoomed-in portrait images.

Renowned tipster Ice Universe shared a screenshot of the 2x portrait mode and as per the latest information the update will arrive with the firmware version ending with WE9. The update size will be 1.5GB.

This option is said to use the primary 200MP ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor’s center 50MP resolution crop. Earlier, the company also rolled out a system update for the S23 series in April, which brought several camera improvements and bug fixes.
