Samsung planning to produce 10 million units of Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 foldable phones

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phones are expected to launch later this year. In the upcoming Unpacked event, the company will launch Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Galaxy Watch 6 Series and more. Recently, the foldable phone Z Fold 5 has been spotted on a benchmark website ahead of its launch.

As per the latest Geekbench information the foldable phone has the model number SM-F946U. Under the hood, the smartphone may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. And it is the same overclocked version found in the Galaxy S23 series. The SoC has a peak clock speed of 3.36GHz. The device got the 2014 and 5022 scores in Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 foldable phone will launch with 12GB of RAM. Now, according to the latest information, Samsung is reportedly planning to produce 10 million units of its upcoming foldable phones – the Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 together.

The latest Galaxy Z Flip 4 features a tiny 1.34-inch cover screen. Now reportedly, Samsung will expand the external display to around 3-4 inches. With a huge display, you can easily manage notifications, selfies and more functionality. The outer display on Samsung’s 2023 foldable flip could cover almost the entirety of its outer clamshell and have a square aspect ratio.
