Samsung’s second-generation of Galaxy SmartTag will come later this year

Samsung introduced its very first object tracker-Galaxy SmartTag in early 2021. Whereas, after two years of its debut still, there’s no updated version available so far. At the same moment, we got some info that bring some fair idea about the next SmartTag variant.

Second-generation Galaxy SmartTag

As per the information, Samsung will be going to launch the second generation Galaxy SmartTag lineup in the third quarter of this year. Although at this point, we are not aware of the improvements that Samsung will be going to bring with its next-generation object trackers. Apparently, one of the most logical things that need to enhance would be the wireless range, beeper volume, and enhanced security measures that resist unauthorized tracking.

Moving ahead, the forthcoming Galaxy SmartTag would be tentatively unveiled along with Samsung’s next-generation wearable devices. The same comprises the Galaxy buds 3 and the Galaxy Watch 6. This is nothing but the upcoming Galaxy unpacked, of the next generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5.

It is to be noted that, at this point in time, no other company is as successful as Apple. This is in terms of sales in the object tracker segment. Also, as Samsung has launched two object trackers, the company has not noticed much excitement among its consumers. Meanwhile, Google is reportedly planning to bring its own object trackers.
