Samsung to produce eight models: iPhone SE4, iPhone 15 Series and more [2023-2024]

Notably, BOE missed the initial supply of Apple’s iPhone 15 OLED, released this year. Now, the company is predicted to make a move with the iPhone SE4. The entry-level model will be expected to release next year, featuring with strong OLED application. Apple produces 19% of its annual revenue from China. Therefore, it is speculated that Chinese BOE will immediately make their commitment in order to supply OLED for the iPhone SE4.

As per the experts, BOE is predicted to primarily supply 4.6-inch organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). This is for the entry-level iPhone SE1, that predicted to come by next year. Since the iPhone SE series has come with LCD models as of now. But, with this series, they tend to apply OLED.

In addition to this, the iPhone SE is an entry-level phone by Apple, that going to launch in emerging markets including India. Whereas, it is also being into the news that the OLED iPhone SE4 is also predicted to use OLED for the iPhone 2021, or the iPhone 2022. So instead of applying new specifications, the company is optimizing it by utilizing the inventory parts.

Samsung Display will have eight production models

On the other hand, by the time when iPhone SE4 is released next year, Samsung Display will have eight production models. It comprises of iPhone 14 series along with iPhone 4 series. Thus, it makes sense for LG Display to make their focus on the LTPO-type category for its top lineup. This is a relatively with little production capacity than Samsung Display.

Furthermore, the OLED volume for iPhone SE4 is approx to be around 2000 million units by next year.  BOE is not able to supply OLED for the iPhone 15 series, the same going to release by later this year. While the company presently developing OLED for the general and plus variants.
