The Indian units of the Samsung Galaxy A51 are now getting the January 2023 security patch update. The latest firmware also fixes device stability and bugs. As per the changelog, the latest update is rolling out with the build number A515FXXS6GWB1. The January patch itself contains 50 security fixes for the Android system and 20 for Samsung’s One UI software. Work is being done on Wi-Fi and NFC, the Knox system, the Secure Folder, and the Phone app.
In order to install the latest patch on your Galaxy A51, all you need to tap on system Settings > Software update > Download and install.

The Galaxy A51 was launched in early 2020 with Android 10. The smartphone received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update in early 2021 and the Android 12-based One UI 4 update earlier this year. It will get the One UI 5.1 Android 13 update in the first week of March 2023.
