In the international market, the Korean tech giant has released the Android 12 update to the Galaxy A51. Now, according to the information, the update is now rolling out to the carrier-locked and unlocked versions of the smartphone in the US. To recall, Samsung had launched the Galaxy A51 in early 2020 with Android 10 on board. The phone received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in early 2021 and has now received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update.
The firmware version is now rolling out with the build number A515U1UEU7DVD4. For the carrier-locked version, the update comes with firmware version A515USQU7DVD3. The whole update package includes March 2022 security update.
If you are the owner of the unlocked variant then this is currently rolling out on Verizon’s network in the US, and more carriers could release the update within the next few days.
How to update Galaxy A51 (Android 12):
Just do it by navigating to Settings » Software update and clicking on Download and install. Alternatively, you can flash the firmware file manually after downloading the latest firmware from our database.
