Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra UK units have screen defects, Samsung replied

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S23 Series and some users started reporting that the screen of the latest flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra is defective. A Twitter user MF shared his S23 Ultra new phone images and judging from the photos, there is a small flaw or deformation in the lower left or right corner of the mobile phone screen.

In response, Samsung officials responded that this is not a defect, and some parts of the display may appear to be squashed because the screen has several layers of glass bonded together to ensure water and dust resistance. On Samsung’s official website, there is even a dedicated page to explain to users that the accumulation of lines on the display is not a product defect.

The display panel is composed of many layers of components, including surface tempered glass, which is directly covered on the display panel. It adopts a waterproof/dustproof structural design, which can effectively prevent the intrusion of foreign objects or liquids. The company says all Samsung products have passed strict internal quality inspections. Samsung says its not an issue.
