It’s been a week since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Subsequently, the predecessor Galaxy S22 has got a price cut in India. Notably, it is starting at the price of ₹72,999, the smartphone now comes with a discounted price of ₹52,999 on Samsung’s online store. This is for the variant that comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. On the other hand, the phone with a 256GB storage model, cost you ₹56,999 respectively.
It is worth informing here, this is the third price cut for Samsung Galaxy S22. The phone’s price was cut down by 10,000 in November only, after that same was priced at ₹62,999. The price was again reduced by ₹5,000 earlier this month. And after the price reduction, it cost comes to ₹57,999.
At the same time, Samsung is also giving discounts of up to ₹31,000 on the exchanging of old smartphones. Talking about the benefits then it includes up to ₹2,000 discount on Samsung Shop App. Additionally, there is another 5% discount via a referral code. While, buyers can get offers on purchases via e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and others. The Phantom Black, White, and Green are the color variants of the Samsung Galaxy S22.
Samsung Galaxy S22 specifications
Specification-wise, it comes with a 6.1-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen. It has 1300 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz of refresh rate. Also, the smartphone is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Packed with Android 12, on top of it One UI 4.1 out of the box.
It is housed with a triple camera set up at the back along with a camera at the front. This comprises a 50MP main sensor that is paired with a 12MP Ultrawide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x zoom. Also, the device is backed by a 3700mAh battery. Ahead of this week, Samsung reveals its Galaxy S23 series. The same has been priced at ₹74,999 for the base variant of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage. Whereas, its top-end variant of the smartphone comprises 8GB RAM with 256GB variant priced at ₹79,999. Moving ahead, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus is priced at ₹94,999 for the base variant of 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Furthermore, the 8GB RAM along with 512GB of storage variant of the Galaxy S23 Plus is priced at ₹1,04,999 respectively.
