Samsung has officially confirmed the launch date of a new smartphone in India. Samsung’s 2023 will start with the budget smartphone – Galaxy F04. The pricing details are yet to be known but yes the company has confirmed some of its specifications.
The Galaxy F04 will be available under Rs 8000 in India and the budget smartphone is confirmed to be available for purchase via Flipkart.
As per the Flipkart teaser, the upcoming Galaxy F04 will have 8GB of RAM, which will be a combination of physical and virtual RAM, which the company calls RAM Plus.
The device will launch with a stylish Gloss Design and which means the smartphone will arrive with a curved frame and back. The rear panel houses two cutouts for the dual-camera setup. There is also an LED flash next to the camera sensors. The Galaxy F04 will be available in Jade Purple and Opal Green colours.
On the front, the phone has a waterdrop notch at the top of the display. While the top and side bezels are fairly thin, the chin is quite thick in comparison. The SIM tray is on the left edge, whereas the power and volume keys are on the right.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy F04 to sports a 6.51-inch display with an HD+ resolution with 60Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. Samsung has also confirmed that the phone will pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The phone is likely to support 10W charging via a USB Type-C port.
The phone will run Android 12 out of the box. It was also reported that the smartphone may launch with a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there could be a 5MP front camera.
