Samsung monthly updates: December 2022 security patch details listed

Samsung already started rolling out the stable One UI 5 update to its several eligible devices alongside the November 2022 security update. Now, the company has revealed what it has fixed in the December 2022 security patch.

According to Samsung’s documentation, the December 2022 security patch fixes 67 security vulnerabilities. Five of those are critical, while 60 are marked as high priority. The new patch includes a fix for one moderate vulnerability and ten vulnerabilities specific to Samsung’s Galaxy phones and tablets.

Meanwhile, along with Google patches, Samsung Mobile also listed 13 (SVE-2022-2284(CVE-2022-39906), SVE-2022-2260(CVE-2022-39905), SVE-2022-2249(CVE-2022-39904), SVE-2022-2136(CVE-2022-39903), SVE-2022-2078(CVE-2022-39908, CVE-2022-39907), SVE-2022-2034(CVE-2022-39902),
SVE-2022-2033(CVE-2022-39901), SVE-2022-1965(CVE-2022-39900), SVE-2022-1929(CVE-2022-39899), SVE-2022-1886(CVE-2022-39898), SVE-2022-1849(CVE-2022-39897), SVE-2022-0914(CVE-2022-39896),
SVE-2022-0699(CVE-2022-39895, CVE-2022-39894))Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items in order to improve customers’ confidence in the security of Samsung Mobile devices.
