Tipster: S23 Ultra HDR is not good as Pixel 7 Pro

The trusted Twitter leaker Ice universe continuously offering up core details about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and its camera capabilities. Recently we reported about a pumpkin photo comparison between the S23 Ultra, S22 Ultra and Pixel 7 Pro that showed off the real image shot example.

Now, the tipster once again shared the information related to the S23 Ultra HDR capability. According to the leaker Tweet, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is better than S22 Ultra in terms of HDR, but it is still not as good as Pixel7 Pro.

No doubt, the latest Pixel 7 Pro performed very well and ranked higher on the DXOMARK with a camera score of 147 in its smartphone rankings. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is further down, tied for 12th position on 135.

Now, the upcoming Galaxy S23 Ultra will surely change the score as it will arrive with a 200MP camera. It will also come with improved sharpness over the samples produced by the other devices in the comparison.

Samsung reportedly intends to launch the Galaxy S23 Ultra in the first week of February 2023. According to previous leaks, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and two 10MP telephoto cameras, one with 3x optical zoom and the other with a 10x folded zoom.
