Samsung AI Forum 2022 will shape the future of AI technologies

Samsung has officially announced that it will hold AI Forum 2022 this year on November 8-9, 2022. The South Korean tech giant will bring world-renowned AI experts, ecosystem stakeholders and academics working in this field with the “AI Forum 2022”, which will be held for the sixth time this year. Samsung AI Forum 2022 will be broadcast live on the Samsung Electronics YouTube channel.

November 8, 2022: (Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice President of Samsung Electronics and Head and CEO of the Device Experience Division (DX), and Prof. Dr. Yoshua Bengio from the University of Montreal, Canada will make the opening speech.) Samsung Institute of Advanced Technology (SAIT) will host on the first day with the theme “Designing the Future with Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductor Technology”.

Participants will evaluate the latest advances in artificial intelligence and the future of research in areas such as semiconductor (chip) technologies.

Later, technology sessions will be held on topics such as “Artificial Intelligence and R&D Innovation”, “Latest Developments in Artificial Intelligence Algorithms” and “Comprehensive Computing for Artificial Intelligence and HPC”.

In each of the technology sessions, well-known artificial intelligence experts and artificial intelligence researchers working under the roof of SAIT will make speeches. Prof. Dr. Minjoon Seo from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Prof. Dr. Hyunoh Song from Seoul National University will share the latest research results in the field of artificial intelligence algorithms.

SAIT President and Samsung AI Forum Co-Chair Gyo-Young Jin said, “At this year’s AI forum, we will discuss the application of artificial intelligence technologies in different fields such as semiconductors and the direction in which research will progress.”

November 9, 2022: On this day, the company will discuss “Spreading Artificial Intelligence in the Real World”. It will be hosted by Samsung R&D Unit, and the topics will be hyperscale artificial intelligence, and digital human and robotics technologies.
