The Korean tech giant Samsung recently announced the availability of Matter support to the SmartThings platform. The latest app will allow you to control Matter-certified devices directly from SmartThings.
To do so, the company has recently rolled out an OTA update for SmartThings v2 and v3 hubs to add Matter compatibility. It allows you to control devices compatible with Matter over Wi-Fi and Ethernet, with Thread border router support limited to the v3 hub and SmartThings dongle.
Now, let’s get back to the title, Android 13, third-party apps can now get a fresh themed icon. As per the latest list, there are a total of 76 applications that have received Android 13-themed icon support. In the list, Samsung SmartThings also joined the race and its the newest member of the group.
Meanwhile, Android 13/One UI 5 has been released on the Galaxy S22 series and for the rest devices, Samsung has officially released the One UI 5 stable update schedule which you can check over here.
