Recently, Samsung Electronics Chairman Jae-Yong Lee visited DK, which is a partner company located in Gwangju. Chairman Lee, always used to focus and accentuate the philosophy of companionship. In his speech, he is saying, “Sharing and growing together is the way to become the best in the world.” After he come back to the office, the first place he would visit was the field of win-win cooperation.
It is to be noted, DK is a partner company of Samsung Electronics. It has been associated with South Korean tech firms for the last 28 years.
Talking about DK then it started its business in Gwangju Metropolitan City in 1993. While the company started trading with Samsung Electronics in 1994. In addition to this info, they have been supplying iron plates processed products that include refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, and air conditioners to the home appliance business.
Simultaneously, while inspecting the production site of DK, Chairman Lee emphasized win-win cooperation with business partners. Further, he added- “If our business partners do well, our company will also do well.”
Also, at the time of the business transaction with Samsung, DK had only 750 million won in sales and 10 employees. Whereas as of last year, the sales grew 287 times and 77 times to 215.2 billion won and 773 employees, respectively.
This out-of-the-ordinary first step was taken by Chairman Lee during his inauguration after visiting the partner company. Now, this has been reflecting Chairman Lee’s will encourage the philosophy of ‘Future Companionship’. In order to connect the future of business goals and patriotism.
