WhatsApp will soon release blur tool for images on Desktop

WhatsApp-owning company Meta plans to add the super referring feature in their messaging platforms’ toolbox, the image blur feature. At the present time, the feature is in beta according to the root source assertion.

WhatsApp’s Image Blur Tool in Testing

Though WhatsApp has already media editing tools like the ability to add stickers, crop photos, and more for mobile as well as desktop users and more. But talking about the features that are about to be added to the application is something different.

The recent report by the WABetaInfo made aware of the testing in the progress of the WhatsApp image blur tool part of its Desktop client’s beta version. The Blur tool will allow users to blur out an image or a portion of an image before sending it to a recipient.

At the source, they shared the screenshot showing the detailed action of the tool that is in progress. This option will stand next to existing options like crop, stickers, markup, and more. Have a look at the screenshot to see what this looks like. There will be an option to blur the media or select the portion to blur while sending an image or a video.

Additionally, this won’t require users to use third-party editing apps before performing the deed. This new feature will help users securely send an image or video by simply concealing sensitive information.

However, it is currently available for limited beta users and if you haven’t got it, just wait for another update for it. It is further revealed that WhatsApp for Desktop beta users can simply send a photo to try out the new Blur tool. Although, we cannot encounter words when the feature will come into force we can expect it soon.

Dissolution…

The image blur tool previously was tested for Android users too. Therefore there is a great chance it will peek to the stable Android, iOS, and desktop users soon.

I wish that we will soon inform you the further detail of the same story, expectingly about feature enrollment. So, keep visiting @Samnews24 for more updates.
