Earlier in August 2022, Samsung rolled out the first ever One UI 5 beta update for the Galaxy S22 series starting with South Korea, Europe, and the US. Now, Samsung has started releasing the second One UI 5 Beta update (One UI 5 Beta 2) for the Galaxy S22 Series users in Korea and US, and the firmware is identified as ZVHK.

The Indian users of Galaxy S22 got a surprise on August 25, 2022 eve as on the same day the company postponed the One UI 5 beta update in China.

What’s new in the One UI 5.0 beta 2 update?

The One UI 5 Beta 2 brings a lot of bug fixes, performance improvements, and refreshed app icons for Samsung’s stock apps. The update is rolling out with 1GB of download size while the first One UI 5 beta carries 3GB of size.

According to the latest information, Samsung One UI 5.0 beta 2 is based on Android 13 that comes with a Smart Widget for apps and features.

The Maintenance Mode is now up in the latest beta which allows you to hide personal data. Samsung has also added the Privacy Detection feature. The Bixby Routines feature has received the Lifestyle Mode with the new One UI 5.0 beta update.

In order to experience the new One UI 5 features based on Android 13, you have to do so in the Samsung Members app. While you’re inside the app, you should see an option for enrolling in the beta program after tapping the “Notices” button.

Then you have to visit the enroll button and then click on the Software update page on your device and tap on check for updates to download the public beta release.
