Samsung is all set to launch its fourth-generation foldable smartphones which are Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4. Reportedly, Samsung rolls out its August patch for Galaxy S20, Z Flip3 and Z Fold3. In addition to this, Galaxy S10 and S10+ receive the July update.
Samsung is an innovator of next-generation smartphones, South Korean tech also focuses to deliver updates on a dedicated timeline of its existing devices as well. The company has scheduled the flagships unpacked officially via press note. The event going to be held on Wed, August 10, 2022, which starts at 9 a.m. ET/6:30 pm IST.
Galaxy Z Fold3 & Flip3 August 2022 update
Now today, the current generation of foldable’s receiving the latest patch and that too is on schedule. The Z Flip3 update has a size of 427MB and the firmware version is F711BXXU2CVG8. Whereas the Z Fold 3 gets firmware version F926BXXU1CVG8 in a package that weighs around 437MB respectively.
And this August patch will be installed on both of the devices, which effectively enhances the overall stability of your device. Though at this point details are not clear yet but probably it going to fix the usual bugs and improves optimisations.
Apart from this, the changelog of the August update on the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra has also been seen. And the same arrives for the Netherlands and Belgium market too. The firmware version of the same is G98**XXUEFVG5 and the package size is 247MB.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 users in the UK are now grabbing the August 2022 update with the build number F711BXXU2CVG8 and the package size is 425MB.
Availability
Now the update for the Galaxy S20 series is now directly available through OTA both for Netherlands and Belgium market devices. This update can also be downloaded over Vodafone’s models, however, it’s not receiving yet on T-Mobile. And latter also applies to the various S20 FE variants, which going to receive an update separately.
On the other hand, the new patch for all Dutch and Belgian devices on Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3 can be installed directly.
Galaxy S10 July 2022 update
Surprisingly, the month patch rolls out for the Galaxy S10e. While the S10 and S10+, however, have been on the May patch for some time now. Therefore we expected that both of these devices will get their update soon.
Now, here is news that these phones are also getting an update with having a firmware version G97*FXXUFHVG4. Although this may probably contain the July patch but not August. But, yes it going to make the series quite up to date.
Also, this is more than just an update, as it dabbles with the Bluetooth connection and the stability of the camera. Moreover, there is still room for the overall optimisation of the device.
Availability
Now, this new update for the Galaxy S10 model is available in Dutch and Belgian devices. The same has been available for Vodafone’s models. Now, the users who have devices from T-Mobile then have to wait a little longer.
