Reports suggest Samsung is preparing to release a new addition to its M series smartphones. The support page for the Galaxy M55s has gone live on Samsung’s Indian website. This device is anticipated to be an enhanced version of the Galaxy M55, which debuted in April.
The support page confirms the Galaxy M55s name and reveals that the phone will feature 8GB of RAM. However, industry observers speculate that additional RAM configurations may be available when the device launches.
Samsung Galaxy M55s on Other Certification Websites
The device with the model number SM-M558B/DS was recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.
However, we have also spotted the device with the same model number on the Popular Geekbench database, which indicates that the upcoming smartphone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The chipset has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz and is paired with the Adreno 644 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The listing also confirms that the device will run Android 14 out of the box, based on One UI 6.1.
Furthermore, the Galaxy M55s has also appeared on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification which revealed that the device will come with support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi.
