Google Android Auto is now getting the new April 2024 update. According to the latest 11.7.6458 changelog, the company has improved the Do Not Disturb functionality, Dark mode on car UI is now independent of the phone and also fixes bugs.
For your information, Android Auto is your smart driving companion that helps you stay focused, connected and entertained with Google Assistant.
Recently, Google updated its Android Auto with a new Split Screen (The home screen can further be customized with quick navigation and saved addresses.), Music tab or widget open, which can be swiped for recommendations.
Also, Android Auto brings all-new on-screen shortcuts like quick calls to favourite contacts, missed call reminders, quick replies to a declined call, and arrival time sharing.
Android Auto 11.7.6458 Changelog
The new version is 11.7 and, as per tradition, the Mountain View giant has not published an official changelog with the new features introduced (we continue to refer to old new features such as the improvement of the Do not disturb function and Dark Mode, re-proposed by different releases). Probably even with this version the developers limited themselves to correcting some bugs and making some minor general improvements.
