Galaxy M55 to launch with 12GB RAM

Samsung is gearing up to launch the next Galaxy M series phone – Galaxy M55. As per the reliable tipster Mukul Sharma, the Galaxy M55 is to launch in India with 12GB of RAM.

If this news is true then this Galaxy M55 smartphone will get as much RAM as the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the recently launched Galaxy A55.

The tipster also confirmed that the Galaxy M55 has a Snapdragon chip. According to previous reports, the mid-ranger will come equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is more powerful than the Snapdragon 778G. This chip is as powerful as the Exynos 1480.

In terms of color it will come in Black and Sky Blue colors. It will also come in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The Galaxy M55 will run Android 14 out of the box and may get a promise of four major Android OS updates.

Meanwhile, the device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and have 45W fast charging. It will be Samsung’s first non-flagship phone to have 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0.

Galaxy M55 5G Google Play Console Listing Details

The Samsung Galaxy M55 5G model was recently spotted on the Google Play Console database with the model number SM-C5560.

The listing reveals the Galaxy M55 5G will run Android 14 out-of-the-box. It will be powered by the QTI SM7450 chipset, which is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. It’s an octa-core chipset paired with Adreno 644 GPU.

The smartphone will feature an FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. Other details about the Galaxy M55 5G include a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
