Samsung Z Fold 6 FE price leaked ahead of Sep/Oct 2024 launch

Samsung is gearing up to introduce a new budget-friendly foldable smartphone in 2024. As per a report from Korean media outlet Sisa Journal, the entry-level foldable device from Samsung will pack with a slightly less powerful processor, an inferior display and a smaller battery capacity.

Reportedly, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 FE foldable phone is expected to be similar to current existing foldable lineup. The cost of the rumoured foldable smartphone is expected to be around $800 which is much more affordable than the $1800 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Moreover, the Korean tech company will be making a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra for its premium users while also adding a budget offering for the average consumer. The tech giants are supposedly going to announce their 2024 foldable lineup in July this year.

To recall, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 launched with a 6.20-inch cover and 7.60-inch foldable screens. The resolution of the display is 2176×1812 which offers a pixel density of 374 ppi.

At the heart, the Z Fold 5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 alongside 12GB RAM. The foldable device packs a 4400mAh battery that also supports proprietary fast charging. In terms of the cameras, the Z Fold 5 packs a triple-lens setup that features a 50MP primary, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 12MP ultrawide sensor. The front camera houses a 10MP+4MP dual-lens setup.
