Samsung to unveil its next-generation storage service at Nvidia GTC 2024 conference

Samsung Electronics is gearing up to introduce its next-generation storage service tailored for the artificial intelligence era. The South Korean tech giant will announce the new product at the NVIDIA GTC 2024.

This conference will be hosted at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, CA, as an in-person conference for the first time since 2019. The keynote address will take place at the SAP Center.

At the event, Samsung will unveil memory solutions for AI and machine learning (ML), including the recently developed 12-layer High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) 3E, alongside a new storage service.

When and Where Is NVIDIA GTC 2024?

NVIDIA GTC 2024 is a five-day event starting March 17, 2024.

With the goal of “redefining AI infrastructure,” Samsung is targeting the server Solid State Drive (SSD) market by leading with its services. The company plans to launch a petabyte (PB)-level SSD solution, dubbed PBSSD, along with a subscription service in the U.S. market in the second quarter to address the era of ultra-high-capacity data.
