The new tool designed by Google proactively searches for users’ phone number, email address and home address and notifies them when it finds something, allowing them to eliminate it from search results.
Here are the steps to follow to take advantage of this tool:
- log in to your Google account
- go to myactivity.google.com/results-about-you
- select “Results to review”
- choose “Start” and press “Next” twice
- add your personal information (name, address, telephone number, email) and confirm
- choose how you want to be notified (email, push notifications or both are available)
