Samsung SDI is all set to display an array of electric vehicle (EV) batteries at the 2023 Korea Future Mobility Expo held at EXCO, Daegu for three days starting from Oct. 19.
Centering on the PRiMX battery, Samsung SDI will showcase various EV batteries and technologies that encapsulate “unparalleled technical competitiveness.” Samsung SDI’s next-generation lineup, such as the 46 mm P6 cylindrical battery and the P5 battery, both of which are successive generations of prismatic batteries, will also be on display.
Samsung Solid State Battery Road Map
Samsung SDI is expected to reveal the road map for its solid-state battery, set for mass production in 2027. The company will showcase BMW i7 equipped with the P5 battery and e-scooters.
