Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 One UI 6 beta coming in October 2023

According to the latest information, Samsung will release the One UI 6.0 Beta update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in October 2023. Yes, you read that right, the community moderator has officially confirmed that the beta rollout for the latest foldable device is now delayed.

Here’s the official statement “Hello. I am in charge of Galaxy Flip/Fold SW. We would like to express your understanding regarding the software beta schedule with OneUI 6.0 applied to the Galaxy Fold5/Flip5 models. The goal was to distribute the first beta version within September, but it was concluded that a little more work was needed to stabilize the software. We apologize for being late from the schedule we originally announced. We will do our best to prepare stable software so that the beta version can be opened as soon as possible in October after the Chuseok holiday. Thank you.”

For your information, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 phone comes with a 7.60-inch touchscreen primary display offering a resolution of 2176×1812 pixels at a pixel density of 374 pixels per inch (ppi).  Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 runs Android 13 and is powered by a 4400mAh battery.

For optics, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8) primary camera; a 12-megapixel (f/2.2) camera, and a 10-megapixel (f/2.4) camera.
