Update 1 – August 16, 2023: Samsung has now released the big camera update to the Galaxy S23 Series. As per the changelog, the August 2023 Galaxy S23 update improves Zoom, Portrait, Close-Up Photos and More.
Galaxy S23 big camera update released
- AI deep learning technology now improves digital zoom picture quality.
- Natural face shape correction is now more adjustable in front photo mode.
- Peripheral image blur is reduced when shooting close-up subjects (S23/S23+).
- Optimized camera performance (inter-shot interval, Super Steady Frame drop, etc.) to improve various shooting experiences in photo/video mode.
- Increased the frame rate of Big Circle, Color Point, and Glitch effects from 24fps to 30fps in portrait video mode.
- Adjusted intensity for natural face shape correction in front photo mode.
- Reduced peripheral image blur by adjusting the focus position when shooting close-up subjects in the rear photo mode of the S23 and S23+ models.
The update is rolling out in Korea.
