The popular YouTuber JerryRigEverything has now uploaded the durability video for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable phone. He first starts the durability test with a scratch test on the front screen.
Note that the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 was launched with the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. In the test, the scratches were showcased at level 6 and deeper scratches at level 7.
The inner display gets scratched at level 2, with deeper grooves at level 3. The side frame and the new improved hinge of the phone are aluminium and are prone to scratches.
In the burning test, the outer screen managed to last for about 10 seconds before throwing black pixels, while the inner lasted 15 seconds. Meanwhile, in the bend test the all new hinge was able to resist extreme bending.
